Blue Hole National Park

The Blue Hole National Park includes both the inland Blue Hole and Saint Herman’s Cave. The two sites are linked by a nature trail. Tour the cave, swim and picnic in the inland Blue Hole, and enjoy the majestic views of the world renowned Karst landscape on the Hummingbird Highway. Seeing these natural wonders is an unforgettable experience.

Saint Hermans Cave

St. Herman’s Cave is located just off the Hummingbird Highway and is part of the Cave Branch River system and the Blue Hole National Park. The Park’s Information Center is located a short distance from the cave’s 60 foot entrance. Guides are available for deeper excursions into the cave.

When descending into the cave, notice the concrete slabs that cover the original stone steps laid down by the Mayans. While in the neighborhood, picnic and swim at the nearby Blue Hole National Park.
