Lower Dover is blessed with water on three sides of its property. Belize River swimming is a wonderful experience when water levels permit during the dry season. The water is curiously warm, birds are flying everywhere, and relaxation is a given.
Little Barton Creek provides multiple natural swimming holes, each with their own cascading waterfalls, which flow year round, but are more vibrant during the rainy season. The creek is a great place to swim and cool off after a sweaty day of tours or hiking around Lower Dover.
